TheUniversity-Medical district (U-Med) is an important employment and education center and a busy public transit destination. Several plans and studies in recent years have recommended improvements to bus and pedestrian facilities on Providence Drive, from Lake Otis Parkway to Bragaw Street. The U-Med Transit and Pedestrian Improvements Project will bring those plans and studies to life for the benefit of bus riders, pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicle drivers.
